Top issues during term (4)
annexation proposal dropped
No immediate hit to your wallet—residents near the city limits keep their current tax and fee setup, while Ukiah misses out on potential new revenue.

Ukiah taxpayers are reportedly on the hook for millions in settlement and legal costs, which can squeeze the city budget.
flooding emergency
Expect costs from property damage, emergency response, and business or commute disruptions as closures and flood cleanup drag on.
land annexation
Taxpayers could see new revenue from development, but they may also foot the bill for extending roads, water, sewer, and services to 752 new acres.
