Opposition to SDG&E Golden Pacific Powerlink Project

SDG&E wants to run 500kV transmission lines with towers up to 190 feet tall straight through Temecula Creek and the heart of the city. The city is mobilizing legal and technical opposition, and the utility just offered only one alternative route avoiding Temecula. Residents turned out in force with wildfire, earthquake and evacuation concerns.
