Retail food fees

A self-described fiscal conservative urged the board not to subsidize or waive food facility fees given the fire department's funding cliff, and criticized the un-evaluated impact fee suspension.

Shasta County Restaurant Coalition representative said businesses are avoiding Shasta County over plan review fees, and noted neighboring jurisdictions waive or defer them until successful opening.
