Seaside Lagoon plan

The Portofino Hotel GM, speaking for the King Harbor Association, formally opposed the current Seaside Lagoon plan's design and 2027 timing, urging the council to slow down and reassess to avoid missing the LA28 Olympics window.

The Riviera Village Association president thanked the council for parklet support and backed the KHA's opposition to the Seaside Lagoon plan, asking the council to incorporate business input.

A King Harbor amenities plan working group member encouraged the council not to dismiss late-arriving business input and said the lagoon outreach process felt 'boring' — residents wanted to hear about fun uses, not just square footage.
