Sidewalk repair program
Residents said the Seville alley apron is crumbling after heavy use by fire trucks and trash trucks, and lifted sidewalks at Wagner Park could seriously injure elderly walkers. Staff confirmed the apron is in an already-approved project.
Golden Avenue Bridge project cost increase
Utility delays pushed the Golden Avenue Bridge project past its original schedule, so the council added $302,848 to T.Y. Lin's construction management contract. Completion is now expected November 22, 2026.
Residential street rehabilitation project amendment
Residents of four streets near Kraemer Middle School say their roads have degraded to gravel and haven't been repaved since at least 1997, creating safety hazards for students on bikes and a neighborhood with only one way out. They submitted photos and a petition signed by 33-plus neighbors and asked to be prioritized ahead of a tentative 2028 schedule.
