Neighborhood Skate Features vs. Large Skateparks

Expressed community concerns from Glen Park residents about safety, peace, and the lack of response to previous survey feedback asking to remove Glen Park from consideration.

Raised concerns about severe traffic congestion and drop-off/pick-up safety issues around Oak Crest Park and the adjacent middle school and Boys and Girls Club.

A local middle school student noted that the afternoon pickup traffic is already heavy and warned that adding a skate feature could worsen congestion.

Suggested that the committee also consider incorporating freestyle mountain biking jump lines into the planning alongside skate features.
