A private road association wants a solar gate at the Black Rice Road cul-de-sac to stop dumping, trespassing, and cut-through traffic. The Nichols family, whose home fronts the cul-de-sac, says the gate and a row of trash cans impose all the downsides on them and want mitigation like screens or relocated receptacles.
Commercial cannabis setback requirements
The county removed the option to reduce setbacks for outdoor and mixed-light cannabis cultivation, which affects where grows can operate near neighboring properties. Testing laboratory setbacks will be studied separately.
