Description
A proposed three-story, 8,209-square-foot mini-storage and warehouse building replacing two storm-damaged 1,600-square-foot warehouses, including a furniture staging warehouse and mini-storage units. The MAC unanimously recommended approval to the TRPA Governing Board and recommended approval of the Commercial Floor Area transfer to the county Planning Commission.
Impact summary
Uses up to 5,009 square feet of the Meyers Area Plan's remaining commercial floor area and would replace a blighted site, but neighbors say the 35-foot height partially blocks ridgeline views. A companion request asks the county to address snowplow damage on Arrowhead Court.
